Edo Wonderland Museum

Another fascinating place I have visited in Japan was the Edo Wonderland Museum. The museum exhibits the period between 1603 to 1868 known as the Tokugawa period or the Edo period. It was described as an era of political stability and economic growth under the military dictatorship of Tokugawa Ieyasu. This period lasted for more than 250 years.

I was in awe of the place. The landscape was phenomenal. One very distinct feature of the museum was the ninja house. If you will watch my slideshow below you will see that the ninja house looked like just an ordinary old house. But once you are inside you will feel out of balance and nauseous. It was designed to put off their enemies. 😰😵

It was also my first time to be inside a maze. I spent quite some time trying to find my way out. 😅

It was also during this visit that I watched a Japanese play. Oh boy! 😮 It was out of this world. It took art to a different whole new level. It was intense and I had mixed feelings about it.
